2019 Honorary Service Award Recipients

Founders Day celebration was established in 1910 to honor the founders of the PTA, Alice McLellan Birney. Phoebe Apperson Hearst, and Selena Sloan Butler, which was first organized in 1897.

San Marino's first PTA was established in the early 1930's at George S. Stoneman School and H.E. Huntington Middle School.

Honorary Service Awards are awarded each year and designed as a unique way for PTA units, councils, and districts to publicly acknowledge both individuals and organizations for outstanding community service to children and youth in the community.
