5th Grade Yearbook Cover photo shoot

Dear 5th Grade Parents:

This is a friendly reminder to please have your child wear the color assigned to their class (see below) this Friday 10/7/16 and be at the morning line-up ON TIME. We encourage the kids to arrive a bit early at 8:15am, as we only have 30 minutes to capture a group photo worthy of the front cover of the year book!

There will be lots of parent volunteers early in the morning to receive the kids, take attendance, and prepare them for the photo shoot. Given the tight schedule, we strongly recommend that you skip Walk to School Day this Friday if possible. The photo shoot will start exactly at 8:30 AM. We would be very sad if any of the 5th graders missed this opportunity, as there will be no re-takes or make-ups available.

To ensure a successful operation, we need your help to reinforce a few ground rules to your kids:
Be on time at 8:15 AM at your class line up. Stay in the lineup awaiting further instructions (do NOT go to playground).
Any child who is late (arrives after 8:30AM) should go directly to the stairs in front of the office. We will try our best, but we cannot guarantee that any latecomers will be included in the cover shoot.
Please listen to all the directions given by the adult volunteers.
Please be quiet when we are walking in the hallways.
Don't fool around with the props that will be handed out. If you break your prop, there will not be another one available for you.
During the photo session, look at the photographer, not your friends. We want to capture every face, and not the side of your face, or back of your head.
Please refrain from joking and fooling around (for example: absolutely No Bunny Ears!). If you fool around, you will be pulled out of the photo session.
